Seems in future we will need robust drone swarm defense to avoid tipping the offense/defense balance greatly in favor of offense. Not sure what that looks like, anti-air point defense systems with AI targeting? Something analogous to Israel’s iron dome but for smaller scale and for more difficult targets
These behaviors are already covered by the laws of war. It has been a war crime to disguise troops as civilians or to send wounded soldiers into combat since the first geneva convention of 1864.
"AI" is introducing nothing new here, if there were itty bitty people in those drones they would be facing the exact same problem.
